About Hair Loss
The hair loss gene causes hair follicles to become weak when they come in contact with a hormone known as DHT. Only hair follicles through the frontal hair line, midscalp and crown area’s of the scalp are damaged by DHT.
What is DHT?
Only people who have inherited the hair loss gene experience hair loss caused by DHT.

How does DHT cause hair loss & thinning?
Because DHT injures your hair follicles slowly over time, your body does not recognise there is an injury and does not attempt to heal the injured hair follicles. As DHT continues to damage + injure your hair follicles your hair will start to appear thinner, weaker, finer and flatter.

How to treat hair loss & thinning?
- Reduce DHT Levels – daily drugs / pills are required to reduce DHT levels within the body. As with all drugs, side effects can include a reduction in sex drive, increase fat deposits around the breast area & reduced energy levels.
- Promote Blood Supply –Remember DHT miniaturises your hair follicles which results in LESS blood supply. Therefore by promoting blood supply to your hair follicles can assist in reducing the damage and reversing its effect on your hair follicles.

How does Skin Needling for Hair Loss work?
- Creating a Controlled Skin Injury.
- The body will respond by sending Platelets and Plasma to the area to repair the damaged and injured cells.
- The increase blood supply to the area helps to repair the damage and injuries to the hair follicles.
- Platelets release growth factors that help to repair the injury and damaged caused by DHT to your hair follicles, therefore helping to promote the regrowth of thicker and healthier hair.

What is involved in a skin needling for hair loss treatment?
- Preparation: Cleanse the scalp with a quality shampoo and conditioner
- Dry the scalp: Towel dry the hair and scalp
- Roll the scalp: Using a clean skin needling roller for hair loss, roll forward and back across the treatment area. Ensure you thoroughly clean and disinfect the roller at all times.
- Lock In Mask: Apply our organic hair and scalp gel and leave in for up to 12 hours. This organic aloe vera gel is a proven vasodialator, meaning it improves blood supply by opening up your tiny blood vessels which encourages circulation of blood to your hair follicles.
- Rinse: Rinse off mask with water (no shampoo or conditioner)
We recommend using our hair regrowth skin needling rollers combined with our Lock In Gel every 2-3 days. Over stimulation is not recommended, therefore keeping the needling roller under 0.3mm is essential.

How long until Skin Needling for Hair Loss starts to work?
- 1-3 months if used in combination with our PRP for Hair Loss Treatments
- 2-4 months if used as a standalone treatment.
By following our treatment protocol, results can include;
- PREVENT & slow down hair loss, thinning & hair shedding
- REGROW thinning hair thicker, fuller and healthier

- BOOST the health & condition of the scalp
- REDUCE the requirement to take daily tablets & drugs to treat your hair loss.
Frequently Asked Questions?
Is there any risk of permanent damage?
The skin needling rollers are ultra fine and do not go deeper than 0.3mm meaning they do not go beyond the top layer of the skin. The needles create micro channels in the skin that close in under an hour. The micro channels allow the nutrient rich organic aloe vera gel to penetrate further into the scalp.
How long should the roller last for?
We recommend replacing your skin needling roller every month. The needles on our roller are titanium alloy, however the needles need to be kept CLEAN and SHARP. You will be provided with a disinfecting and cleaning solution. To avoid using dull needles that can cause excess damage, we suggest a proactive approach & replace your roller with a new one every month.
